Lydd

Lake of about 12 acres, a typical gravel pit, with lots of underwater features to fish to.

Depths vary from 3 feet to 20 feet. Contains carp only, from 10lb to 30lb+.

Information: Dug in the 1990’s Mid Kent took over the fishing rights in 2005. This virgin lake had no known stocks in the lake other than a few fish bred from the wild. Therefore it was a golden opportunity to stock some really nice Carp into the lake.

The lake was very fertile with masses of natural life in the water so we new the carp would do well. The growth rates have even surprised us we stocked carp to 24lb in 2005; it has already produced several carp to mid thirties which is amazing.

Tends to be a bit windy in winter, more for the hardy souls at this time of year! Species Present: Carp to high 30’s

A key is required for this venue.

Only tiers 1 and 2 may fish this lake

Our fishing sites are on private land and often shared with other amenities or industrial areas such as working quarries. Requests for permission to access to view these sites should be made to the fisheries manager Chris Logsdon.
