Information: A mature gravel pit with fishing from one bank only except at the north end bowl. The lake is very deep in areas and banks almost vertical therefore angling needs thinking about. The lake holds a good head of fish to low 40’s and is a very popular venue.

A booking system is in place and strictly enforced. You may drive to and park behind most swims on the lake.

Additional Rules:

  1. You must purchase a key before visiting/fishing.
  2. Telephone office to book. Only 6 bookings per day. Bookings run from midday to midday.
  3. Freemason Rules will be issued with your key.You must adhere to their rules as well as ours.
 

Please note that access to this and all Mid Kent fisheries sites is strictly by appointment only.

All our venues apart from Match Lake are only available to members. Please check with our office for the availability of day tickets for Match Lake

Our fishing sites are on private land and often shared with other amenities or industrial areas such as working quarries. Requests for permission to access to view these sites should be made to the fisheries manager Chris Logsdon.
