im after abit of advice...im looking to break a pb tench of 8lb and do some fishing for tench in general...im not a member of midkent fisheries yet but im getting bored of the carp waters i fish on the dartford district and looking for something different...not wanting to give my ddaps ticket up yet as its a two year waiting list to get back in!!! i can only afford tier 3 :(
what are the best waters for my target fish? really like the look of the blue lagoon but is there a large enough stock of tench? someone told me they are up to 11lb :) but are few a far between :(
heard nacolt was once awesome but unfortunatly the carp has thinned out the tench?
Loads of tench in lagoon and early in the season you have a chance of some lumps. I dont recon they are anything like as big as pan but you've got a chance of a 10 I recon. Float fishing and plenty of watercrafts your best bet as they can spook easy enough in that shallow clear water. Really fun fishing!
