A group who had booked exclusive use on w/c 26 May have advised me that several guys have dropped out and they can no longer book the lake exclusively. There are now 4 spaces available for that week, if anybody is interested please contact me.
Sorry but apart from the May week shown above the only other weeks where there are any spaces left this year are w/c 2 August (3 places)and 1 September (6 places), the latter a similar situation to the May week being available as some members of a group exclusive booking have dropped out.
Marc it has been very good for 3 weeks out of the 4 that we have been open, too cold the 2nd week after the exceptional warm spell. Last week 71 fish out including 6 50's and I think 17 40's with the average weight of all carp caught at around 36lbs. Due to computer problems I am not able to update all the web pages at the moment though I have managed to post some pictures with a lot more ready to put on there.
There are are still 3 spaces available w/c 26 May, a last minute booking deserves a last minute price. Anybody interested please contact me. Worth looking at our catch reports this year which might help you decide.
They are slaughtering the lake!! As of this morning 82 fish had been caught which is our 3rd highest total since we started Moulinots in 2002, 1 angler from Herts has caught 28 fish so far (a new record). Considering that there has been on and off spawning during the week I am amazed at the number of fish caught. The only downside is that the fish weights are approx 15% down after spawning with several of our known mid 50's being caught in the high 40's. Not sure how many 40's out so far think it is at least 12, so not bad! Off on our holidays tomorrow so no more updates for a little while.
