Hi

I had an 18 from the halfway tree, a 14 came out of the reeds, a 26 from the top bay point and as I was walking my gear back this morning I helped a guy out by netting a 23 fully scaled for him off the oaks.

That cold north wind really messed the fishing up as it does with all the lakes through the stour valley. And typically it turned back to a south westerly today as I packed up. Nice.

Are there any features (bars etc) around the point looks like a really good fishy area with tree cover and the bay but not had a chance to plum around that area yet?

Well done that man.I was gutted I didn't get to see such a stunner as she was returned before I was told of her capture. All I can add that she was caught from the Oaks area at 3.30pm yesterday afternoon.I and a couple of others who were fishing don't believe that it was the Peach that came out 18 days ago.I yet again blanked, not a carp from here since last OctoberOn the brightside my mate Darren lived up to his nickname Golden Balls again,on his first visit to the Stour he had a stunning fully scaled of 26lbs 12ozs.Not too many on the bank friday night but filled up saturday morning

It was me who thought i had the Peach at 31Ib 8oz. Reason i thought this was because of the colour on a part of its body was a peachy colour so because of this and its weight i came out with this conclusion like anyone would with its characteristics and weight.

Also the person who came over when i had it on the bank said he has seen the peach out before and it looks like the fish i had on the bank.

Could that fish in the pic be the 'Alien'?

If someone gives me instructions on how to upload pics ill upload the pics i have of the fish!

nice one tony lovely fish mate . Taylor the fish tony is holding is the peach for sure ive been fishing the stour for about 6 years now and that is one of 3 fish left in there i want for the full set . Theres no way it can be the alien as this fish is a common of about 28-29lb now if you can put your photo up of the 31lb fish i will try to help identify it

Taylor the fish you had is of the same strain as the Peach, I took the Photos of Tony's fish a real stunner or should that be a "real Peach."
