ESP hooks...the carp hate them, they can never get away! Make me love them even more.

Luke, i went off the korda wide gapes a while ago as i kept having the same problem, they kept on snapping just before the shank. Now i understand that korda make a standard Longshank for open water fishing and a Longshank X used for fishing in weedy and snaggy situations, why not do the same with the wide gape, i know the suposed to be strong enough to cope with whats ever thrown at them but this is clearly not the case with me, and a few others. Since fishing weedy waters i have moved on to a few different style of hook, Carp Maxx, Korda Longshank X, and my favorite pattern of hook, the ESP Stiff Riggers, all of these hooks used in big sizes has landed me plenty of fish when the weeds up!
