Had my first go last night very impressed what a lovely lake. Fished on the feeder as i wasnt to sure what to go after had a few small fish and a small Jack Pike which liked pellets but no Bream/Tench but i only had a few hours. Met Dave the bailiff very nice man who offered to show us around at a later date i will be intouch thank you very much for the offer. Will be buying a decent trolly though not to keen on the old train crossing will use other entrance in future.

Dean, you're probably aware but just in case you dont know you can get another key for the yacht club entrance which will give you easy access to carp island etc. So much easier than lugging all your gear bit by bit thru the train crossing gates and then having to load up on the barrow again, man that was hard work.

Esox the trian crossing is no more lol, Thanks for the advice over the key i shall get one next week i bought two keys but not the correct one doh. Dave explained the decent entrance and car park seems more sensible and i also ordered a new prestige trolly Friday for both Westbere and Fordwitch getting to old for lugging mate.
