After fishing till 2pm on the Medway with no fish, we moved back into Canterbury to try and wangle even one fish out. Then coming up to dusk, with a couple of VERY shy bites, I first landed a 4lb 8oz Chub, then 15 minutes later a whopper at 5lb 12oz's. Really chuffed to say the least !

aye well done mate saturday was your day and sunday mine with a new p.b. for me at 5lb 4oz not long to go now till the closed season hopefully we can manage a 6lb by then. i love catching chub

Brilliant Fish. Well done. Without giving too much away are you fishing in Canterbury or downstream in CDAA stretch? (or upstream?) (A "no comment" would be understandable its just i'm a little unclear where MKF members are fishing the Stour these days. would really like to get back on a stretch before the close season kicks in) ckc
