Mid Kent Fisheries - Ham Road
Ham Road and Scout Lake
The Scout Lake suffered a fish kill due to an alga which is present in the lake. It did kill a lot of the carp but those which survived are now very big. We are unable to stock the lake until the quarry works stop which I am told will be in about two years time, the problem is the washing of the sand causes the algae to bloom.

Please check with our office for the availability of day tickets for Match Lake Our fishing sites are on private land and often shared with other amenities or industrial areas such as working quarries. Requests for permission to access to view these sites should be made to the fisheries manager Chris Logsdon. |
