Mid Kent Fisheries - Milton Complex
Swan Lake , Tonford Lake , Handle Lake , Pan Lake
This complex of lakes which were dug in the 1970’s is most likely one of the most prolific fishing complexes in the country. Mid Kent Fisheries took the lakes on in the early 1990’s and proceeded to stock them over the next 6 years.
All four lakes now hold carp over 40lb the biggest caught in 2012 was a 46lb common from the Pan Lake. All four lakes also hold big double figure tench and the Handle and Tonford lakes also hold very big bream to 15lb.
The pan lake featured on Martin Bowlers latest DVD and book in Catching The Impossible. Martin in his own words said the Pan Lake is probably the best Tench fishery in the country he caught 9 doubles in one night up to 13lb.
The whole complex is a magnificent fishery.
