Mid Kent Fisheries - Mainline Chilham

Mainline Chilham

Chilham Lake was the first lake to be opened by MKF in September 1991.

Dug in the late 1950s for gravel, this mature gravel pit has recently undergone a major face lift and stocking with some £200,000 having been invested into transforming this lake into one of the most idylic waters in the UK.

Covering some 26 acres it offers everything the carp connoisseur requires.

A multitude of features such as islands, gravel bars, reed beds and shallows together with large stocks of 20s and 30s and a couple of known fish around the 40lb mark.

Large Grass Carp, Catfish & Pike together with specimen Tench and Bream are also present in this premier specimen venue, the jewel in the crown of MKF.

Size: 26 Acres
Stock: Carp 40lb, Grass Carp 24lb, Catfish 30lb, Pike 30lb, Bream 12lb, Tench 10lb, Roach 3lb, Perch 2lb

Chilham V Milton
Chilham V Milton interesting!! The match would have to be over two legs, one on each lake! Perhaps put two or three pegs from each lake in the draw and fish all four lakes at Milton. I am quite happy to help run it but it is down to you guys to pick teams
