Mid Kent Fisheries - Loggies Lake

This lake was dug and stocked in 2004 and has already produced several fish to 40lb plus which shows great potential for the future.

We have also recently stocked many doubles so that it can be a winter runs water so that guys can still get some action even in the depths of winter.

Not only does it provide an enhanced fishing experience, but demonstrates Mid Kent Fisheries Lake creation skills.

We drained two lakes that were maturing with increased density of marginal reed beds and siltation making the majority of the two lakes unfishable. This has created one lake which has already featured on TV several times and recently was one of the venues used by Korda in the making of their DVD’s

2012/13: So many anglers have had red letter days this year, some catching 15 or so carp over a weekend, 6 to 8 fish a session is not at all uncommon. The carp are now reaching 40lb with many 20’s and 30’’s. The lake also offers great tench fishing with fish into double figures often being caught. Roach and rudd are caught to nearly 3lb+ on a regular basis and pike into the high 20’s.

The skilled angler should expect to catch many Carp in excess of 30 lbs
