Mid Kent Fisheries - Larkfield

Larkfield

These lakes are part of carp and tench fishing history and have been established as fisheries for many decades.

A TIER TWO TICKET. TIER ONE MEMBERS MAY ALSO FISH THESE VENUES

The venue consists of four large lakes, known as Road & Island Lake, Railway Lake, Lake No. 2 and The Ocean. The lakes hold carp to 56lb and many known fish at 30lb and 40lb plus.

The number two lake is the easiest lake of the four on this complex and has a large number of 30lb plus carp and a few exceeding 40lb. It is also known for its huge tench with several doubles being caught in a session. A good number of double figure bream also frequent the lake together with big pike, roach, perch and rudd.

The Railway is most likely the hardest of the four but those who persevere are rewarded with some stunning looking fish.

The Road and Island has very large carp to 50lb plus and again known for its big tench and bream. You may use a boat for unhooking snagged fish on this lake as long as life jackets are worn.

The Ocean is the largest of the four lakes and is also used by wind surfers and divers but is also has some very large carp. Mid Kent Fisheries stocked 93 double figure carp into this lake eight years ago and some of these are now topping over 40lb in weight. You may use a boat on this venue for freeing snagged fish as long as life jackets are worn.
YOU CAN ALSO FISH FREEMASONS ON THIS TICKET.
A key is required for this venue.
