Chilham Water Mill

Chilham Mill pumping station is a fine example of Mid Kent Water's caring attitude towards conservation and the environment, combining modern technology with a splendidly restored piece of English industrial heritage.

Visitors are welcome to the mill site, which is in an area of special landscape value and is used for recreation, conservation and educational purposes. There is a car park, toilet block and visits for school parties, bird-watchers and nature interest groups can be arranged.

Mid Kent Fisheries is based at the Chilham Water Mill just off the A28 before the junction with the A252 Charing to Canterbury road.
