Mill Pool

This mature gravel pit, dug in the late 1960s, provides good all round fishing with multiple 20lb Carp captures possible and good Bream, Tench and Roach fishing. A good venue for both specimen and pleasure anglers.

Size: 10 Acres
Stock: Carp 30lb, Bream 9lb, Tench 7lb, Rudd 1lb & Roach 2lb

Please note that access to this and all Mid Kent fisheries sites is strictly by appointment only.

Our fishing sites are on private land and often shared with other amenities or industrial areas such as working quarries. Requests for permission to access to view these sites should be made to the fisheries manager Chris Logsdon.

Directions
Take M2 to Faversham, leave at Jct 6 (Faversham-Ashford). Turn towards Faversham and proceed to A2. Turn left on A2 towards Sittingbourne. At first roundabout, turn right into Western Link Road with old brickyard on right. Go down the road past Brett's offices until you see Wood Pool on the left.

At the end of this lake there is a pull-in and a gate. Unlock gate and go up the track until you see a fork in the road. Take left-hand fork and park car between Mill Pool and Wood Pool at the end of the track.

Additional Rules

  1. Do not park on track, even to unload tackle, park only in designated areas.
  2. Please be polite at all times. Site and Office Managers walk the site regularly.
  3. No guests.
  4. Please pick up all litter, even if it is not yours.
