Conningbrook

Although this is a very hard water with approximately 30 known Carp present, the sheer size of these fish is exceptional.

The anglers who fish this water on a regular basis know that the next run could be a new British record (*).

The lake has produced the British Record Mirror of 61lb 2oz which sustains an average growth rate of 3lb per year. Be prepared for 'a few' blank sessions though.

Information: Dug in the early eighties the original fish were stocked form the Mill Pool in Faversham and the rest is history.

The lake also holds some very nice pike up to around the 30lb mark. A key is required for this venue.

Car Parking: Keep to track on the right after passing through Brett’s gate and proceed approx. 150 yards with the big lake on your right. Turn left into the first car park. The top car park is situated at the end of the old part of the lake. Do not stop anywhere else to unload or for any other reason

Species Present:

Main Lake:Approx. 35 acres: Carp 64lb 15oz, Pike 27lb and Roach

Small Lake: approx. 3 acres: Carp 28lb, Pike 29lb, Tench, Perch and Roach
